I came across this home-made advertisement downtown Montreal recently.
I saw there a great example of object-based marketing. Passerbys could easily relate to this old bicycle. The message was personal and clear. A purpose stated in a funny manner that is creatively drawing attention (altough graphic design is simple to say the least). The concept of re-use or « giving it a new life » is also catchy.
I tought this form of marketing « based-on-example » could be applied to many other fields. After all I do visit tens of organizations every month and come across ERP systems and business processes resembling in many ways the old bike on the picture.
